Family

Family means the world to me...and it was a blessing to be able to get together with my mom's family today, Easter Sunday. This date is not just Easter, but would have been my grandparent's 63rd Wedding Anniversary. I know PawPaw is looking down at the love that was present today and smiling.

The love between Eddy & Hazel created 10 beautiful children, 15 grand children, and 12 great-grand children.

Model Kids...

This winter Randy and I were given to opportunity to get to know two great kids. Gia and Roman are relatives of some friends of ours and they have been in the movies!! They were born in the LA area and their mom was a genius to get them involved in the industry. I couldn't wait to take a few pics of them...they are so natural in front of a camera!! Meet our new little friends, Gia & Roman...

Riese, Our Niece

This past year has been very eventful for us. We welcomed our niece, Lil' Miss Riese!! She is now 8 months old and I just got back from visiting with her, we will have a standing play date for the next few weeks and I know we am more excited than she will ever know.

It has been amazing to see her progression, in life. We saw her one Saturday and she was up on all fours, the next weekend she was crawling slowly and now there is no stopping her!! She gets where she wants to go and nothing is going to stop her! I can't believe how big she is and how her personality is developing. She is clapping and I am told she can wave bye,bye and give kisses, although I have not been witness to these last two accomplishments. She is a very happy baby and just lights up when you bring a camera in her view, she should be a model. These are a few from Christmas!!

Baby Nathan -- A Family Reunion

My nephew Justin and his fiancee Ashley are expecting baby Nathan in a couple of weeks. Bringing a life into this world is such a blessing. And to see Justin grow from a giggly, 10 year old boy to a father has been an honor. They are a really great couple, with great supportive families.


Ashley's mom & dad hosted a fantastic baby shower in December for family and friends. At the shower an unbelievable connection was made by the families, Ashley's great-grandfather used to buy hogs from Justin's great-grandfather a long, long time ago in Midfield, Texas. I seriously doubt their great-grandfather's would ever know how these two families would be joined in the next century. Ashley's grandfather told this story at the shower and many of us were touched beyond belief.
